This light rail expansion extended the existing line from the downtown Tacoma Theatre District through the historic Stadium District and Hilltop neighborhoods.

We provided construction-phase commissioning coordination, including commissioning oversight for all track electrical and total building commissioning for the new addition to the Operations and Maintenance Facility (OMF)

Our commissioning team performed building commissioning of HVAC, lighting, electrical power distribution, and low-voltage systems in the OMF. We coordinated with the track and station electrical systems commissioning manager for the 2.4 miles of track, five new stations, and one relocated station along the way.

In addition, we provided design-build mechanical and electrical engineering for the addition to the OMF, as well as a new paint booth and wash facility in the yard area behind the maintenance facility serving the Tacoma Link Light Rail.
